Narrative
CRAWFORD CO., WI – A woman and two teens died Tuesday in a multi-vehicle crash involving a semi along the highway just north of Lynxville.
The accident happened around 11:35 p.m. on Highway 35, just east of the Wisconsin and Iowa state line.
Police say that for unknown reasons, the 16-year-old driver of a southbound SUV entered the northbound lanes of Highway 35 and collided head-on with a northbound 18-wheeler.
The 16-year-old driver of the SUV died in the crash along with his mother, who was a passenger in the front seat, and his 13-year-old brother in the back seat.
Authorities identified the mom as 45-year-old Heather Kramer.
The truck driver was not hurt in the crash.
