Narrative
MEMPHIS, TN – A 17-year-old died, and five other people went to the hospital last Sunday after a three-vehicle crash along the highway in southeast Memphis.
The accident occurred at 11:17 p.m. on the westbound side of TN-385 at Ridgeway Road, which is just west of May Park in the Balmoral area.
Police haven’t yet specified the cause of the collision, but they say it involved a Kia Forte, a Chevy Camaro, and a Nissan Altima.
The Kia struck the Chevy before then hitting the Nissan.
Authorities have not yet released the name of the deceased.
Medics transported another teen and four adults to the hospital. Two of the adults sustained critical injuries.
