SOUTH HAVEN, MI – One person died Thursday afternoon following a two-vehicle crash involving truck in central Van Buren County.
The accident occurred just before 2:30 p.m. near the intersection of Blue Star Highway and 107th Avenue in South Haven.
Police say that a motorcycle collided with a truck hauling a trailer. It’s not yet clear which vehicle caused the accident.
The motorcyclist died after transport to a local hospital. Authorities have not yet released the name of the deceased to the public.
Officials closed Blue Star Highway in the area of the crash for several hours while crews worked to clear the scene.
An investigation is underway.
