WAIPAHU, HI – A 44-year-old motorcyclist died Saturday after a two-vehicle crash on the island of O’ahu.
The incident happened just before 2 a.m. along the westbound side of the H-1 Freeway in Waipahu, which is about 15 miles from Honolulu.
Police say the victim’s motorcycle rear-ended another vehicle when the vehicle in front stopped suddenly for traffic. The force of the collision ejected the biker into the roadway.
Authorities have not yet released the name of the deceased.
The other driver sustained non-critical injuries.
