Narrative
DOUGLASVILLE, GA – A teen girl was hurt Wednesday in an auto-pedestrian crash that happened near the elementary and high schools in Douglasville.
Around 8 a.m., emergency crews responded to the stretch of Winn Road in front of Connie Dugan Elementary, which is just west of South Paulding High School.
The student was walking along Winn Road when a pickup truck hit her.
Medics transported the victim to an area hospital with critical injuries.
The driver involved in the accident stopped to render aid and to speak with police.
