PORTLAND, OR – Police are looking for the vehicle that struck and killed a pedestrian Friday night on the east side of Portland.
The accident happened around 10 p.m. at the intersection of East Burnside Street and Northeast 113th Avenue, which is just northwest of Ventura Park Elementary School.
Police haven’t shared any details about the accident except to say that the driver fled the scene.
Authorities have not yet released the identity of the victim.
Officials closed roadways in the area of the accident while crews worked to gather evidence and clear the scene.
