Narrative
DENVER, CO – Police arrested a man after he struck and killed a pedestrian in the front yard of a Denver home.
The incident happened last Monday just after 3 p.m. in the area of West Mississippi Avenue and South Irving Street, which is just northwest of Rocky Mountain Prep.
Police say that a 56-year-old driver may have been intoxicated when he left the roadway and hit a man in a yard.
The pedestrian died at the scene. Authorities have not yet released his identity to the public
